The Oak Grove Nature Center presents "Astronomy in the Park" on Saturday, July 9th from 8:00 - 11:00 pm. Astronomy-themed activities and crafts inside the Nature Center. Stargazing with telescopes provided by the Stockton Astronomical Society. Activities are free and open to people of all ages. Oak Grove Regional Park entrance fee of $5 is required per vehicle.

GALT - The City of Galt's Annual Fireworks Spectacular will be on Saturday, July 2 at Veterans Field starting at approximately 9:30 p.m. Until then, bring the family and celebrate the entire day with the following events:

Sports Complex Fields - beginning at 10:00 a.m.
- Co-Ed and Men's One-Pitch Softball Tournament ($35/team) Space is limited! Pre-registration is required.

- Volleyball Tournament ($20/team) Space is limited! Pre- registration is required.

- Horseshoe Tournament ($5/person) Space is limited. "Walk Ins" may be taken the day of the event as space allows.

Skate Board Contest at the Galt Skate Park from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
